Oumar Diallo is Director, Fintech and Innovation at Quebec’s financial markets authority (AMF). He is perfectly trilingual (English, French and German) and has more than 11 years of experience in strategic and regulatory analysis, risk management and financial technology as a result of working closely with decision-makers in finance and at international organizations. He graduated from France’s prestigious National School of Administration (ÉNA)—Promotion Robert Badinter. He has held senior positions, including with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), the Laurentian Bank of Canada, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and The Economist.
Oumar is an experienced board director who is very involved in the community, having already served on several boards and selection committees, including that of Concertation Montréal’s Group of Thirty. He’s distinguished himself as president of the African Business Network in Canada (REPAF) and through his unifying leadership.
