The Poster for the 2012 Edition of Black History Month

Illustrator: Frédéric Goyette

About the poster

Inspiration

Imagine a new world! A world where culture helps bring people to life. A world where there's no room for barriers of culture, language, or territory. Imagine a world fueled by discovery: in our views, our music, our art, our literature, and our poetry. A world where people take interest in their fellow human beings, in philosophizing and moving forward to resolve the great issues of our society — above all, a world which exists beyond this poster. This world lives inside of us all, so don't simply imagine this new world... Live it out and create it!

About the artist
